Late Fall Shower
As Halloween and the end of October rush at us, this lowly clover, apparently unaware of the fate to be faced a few weeks hence, takes advantage of the misty rain for a bath. I found this blossom, mid shower, clinging to a pile of dirt pushed up alongside the road. Although obviously originating from humble beginnings, this collection of small flowers exudes an elegance and beauty for any who pause long enough to enjoy and appreciate.
