Meadow Diamonds This past Saturday my Son took me on an adventure - an 11 mile hike to the Grand Park on the North side of Mt. Rainier. The Grand Park is a Meadow 3 miles long and a mile wide at it's widest formed when volcanic material filled a valley between two ridges. I lost count at 43,681,455 flowers and was certainly glad I had my notebook computer in my pack to download the camera so I could shoot some more. There had been a heavy dew/fog the night before and ALL of the lupine leaves contained a 'meadow diamond'. Here is a representative for your enjoyment.
