Wrinkled Linen
As we've seen in many prior pictures, Mother Nature has found many inventive ways to fold flower petals such that they open smoothly and evenly. Perhaps 'Father Nature' had something to do with this one as the petals most resemble his shirts after he has either 'ironed' them to his satisfaction or decided it would just get wrinkled as he was wearing it, so why bother. He apparently doesn't see a need to remove the red wine stains either or, heaven forbid, are they very red lipstick stains obviously worn by some floozy or happening during one of his cross dressing episodes.
This flower most reminds me of the burst of a complex fireworks with the sequential ignition of various colors - wonder if the central white is one of those really noisy blasts?
