Tulip Crystals
Mother Nature's creativity never ceases to amaze me! We all know what a tulip looks like - don't we? I met this tulip near Mount Vernon, WA last week. As I look closer at this beauty, I notice that the 'crystals' are in fact tubes or hollow needles. There's something about this image that makes me think of Superman's northern ice home with beautiful crystals providing a most dramatic decor to an otherwise drab landscape. Once again, being 'different' leads to unique beauty.
