I took advantage of a sunshine break today to walk around the neighborhood to enjoy and photograph the fruits of my neighbors' labors. As I walked past a rather striking red rhododendron, I had an eerie feeling that I was being watched. This isn't particularly unusual, as my neighbors have expressed concerns over this gray headed old guy who bows and talks to their flowers. They're not sure what I see in the flowers. I'm here to tell you that the flowers have eyes as well. Upon further examination of this rhodie I was startled to find small double rods with bright headlights seeming to be launched from the center of each bloom. I am unable to tell you how fast these little ships could travel, but I did outrun them to the next block. The aliens are definitely here, and they're blooming throughout Greater Pugetopolis right now!
